Blackberry Rock, located in a converted carriage house less than 20
minutes from Boston and Cambridge, is a private, high-end project studio for
acoustic or MIDI projects.
Blackberry Rock's control and primary tracking room, designed by noted acoustician Bob Alach of Alactronics, offers a pristine, transparent, acoustically neutral environment for critical listening and recording, without the usual over-deadening. Many other interesting spaces, including a two-story, sloped-ceiling library and an extremely resonant garage, can also be used for tracking. The studio features 32 channels of RME A/D converters, Nuendo 2 with a HUI controller, and a high-quality selection of microphones, preamps, and effects.
